I am a patient sick with cystic fibrosis and related complications,
dependent on SNAP & am often on home IVs for lung infections.
I am a responsible person who has been
saving as much as I've been able to over the past year.
On Nov. 1, my food budget went from $297 to $0.
My doctors did the paperwork for a medical exemption. That did nothing.
The images below are from my personal account.
THE LATEST:
MY SNAP FUNDS HAVE BEEN DISBURSED IN FULL!!
THANK YOU FOR NOT LETTING ME GO HUNGRY!!

I had applied early for this as well.
As of Sat. Nov 8, HEAT SHOULD NOT BE SHUT OFF FOR PENNSYLVANIANS. THERE IS A MORATORIUM ON THIS DURING THE SHUTDOWN. HOWEVER, GIVEN THE RULINGS WITH SNAP BENEFITS (FUNDS SHOULD BE LEGALLY AVAILABLE; THEY ARE NOT), I'M NOT SURE HOW THIS WILL ACTUALLY PLAY OUT.
